Important Announcement!

All driving students MUST obtain a VALID parking permit to park on either the Casteel or Rock Point campus. Students parked on either campus without a valid permit will be tagged or booted.

Rock Point Campus has generously offered a portion of their parking lot to Casteel seniors who are not among the 240 students assigned a Gold Lot parking space. This provides eligible seniors with a parking option that is closer than the Blue Lot.

Students issued a Rock Point (RPC) parking pass are expected to follow all parking rules and campus expectations, including:

Parking only in designated areas
Displaying their parking tag at all times
Respecting the Rock Point staff, students, property, and campus
Following all directions and parking regulations

Students who fail to follow these expectations may lose their RPC parking privileges and will be required to park in the Blue Lot instead

The Bookstore is located on campus (A1). Parents-Please make your payments online through the parent portal or send payment with your student to campus.

Students may access the bookstore BEFORE school, during LUNCH, or AFTER school ONLY.

Parking Application

The parking application for 26/27 School Year is an online application. You must have a Google email to apply for a parking permit. You can use your student GSE account or any Gmail address to apply.

Applications are on a first-come, first-serve basis starting with Seniors and then underclassman.

Please be sure to fill out the entire application form and submit the required documents for application review. After submitting your application, you will receive an email letting you know what is next. We appreciate your patience while we process your application. Once approved, you will receive another email with payment and pick-up instructions.

The following steps MUST BE TAKEN for you to pick up your parking permit. Be sure all outstanding fines and fees are paid in full prior to this time, so the parking fee can be added to your account.

The parking fee of $80 ($20per QTR) will be added to your infinite campus account within 24-48 hrs of receiving the approval email.
Please follow the steps below to pay online.

Log in to Parent Portal on Infinite Campus

-Click on the "More" section on the bottom left

-Select "InTouch Fee Payments." You will now be redirected to the "Fee Payment" website

-Select your student. There will be a red-highlighted area at the top where unpaid Fines and fees will be listed

-Check the box for the items to be added to the cart

-Proceed to cart to make payment

Parking Permit Rules

RULES REGARDING STUDENT DRIVING AND USE OF PARKING FACILITIES

Students are permitted to park on school premises as a matter of privilege, not of right, and may have that privilege revoked at any time. Before applying for a parking permit, all outstanding student fees must be paid.

PARKING PERMIT RULES

LOSS OF PARKING PRIVILEGES MAY INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING: Leaving campus without approval, reckless driving, transporting alcohol, illegal substances, dangerous weapons, failure to drive courteously, failure to provide adequate seating for passengers, failure to respond to school authorities, and transporting students who are not permitted to leave campus.
If students are leaving campus before 2:25 p.m., they will only be able to leave from the east exit. Students will have to show security their school ID and a pass that excuses them from school early.

Suspension of parking privileges, booting of vehicles and/or suspension from school may occur when violations of parking/driving regulations occur.

Students must have their parking permits displayed at all times or be subject to vehicle “booting.” Parking hangers must be displayed on the rear view mirror. Park at your own risk. Casteel High School is not responsible for vehicular damage, theft, loss of property or expenses/damages from “booting.”

PERMITS

All student vehicles are required to have a permit.
Parking permits are not transferable. They must be used solely by the applicant. They cannot be sold or given to another student. Parking permits must be turned in if they are no longer desired. Each application must be completed accurately and fully. False or incomplete applications will be denied or canceled with termination of parking privileges.
A copy of the student’s driver’s license (not a permit) and current car insurance must be submitted with the application. They will be photo copied and kept on file.

FEES/REFUNDS

The parking fee for the year is $80.00. This must be paid in advance. CASH, Credit Card or Checks (made payable to Casteel High School) are accepted.
Students who transfer to another school during the year will receive a prorated refund. Students who forfeit their parking privileges or are withdrawn from school due to infractions of school rules will not receive a refund.

Parents can view and pay their student’s fees, make tax credit donations, and other purchases online via the “InTouch Fee Payments” link on your Infinite Campus Parent Portal. To make a Payment follow the steps listed below. Please note there is a convenience fee charged to pay online.

Student ID

Students receive a free student ID within the first two weeks of the school year on picture day.

All Casteel students are required to always have a school photo ID in their possession while on campus, and students must present it at the request of any faculty or staff member.
The ID must be visible, legible, and in its original condition.
If the card is lost or stolen, there is a $5.00 replacement fee.
For students to attend school events, students must present their ID card.
We encourage students to take a picture of their ID card and to store this picture on their phone.

PE Uniforms

P.E. Uniforms can be purchased in the Bookstore. Students will need to come before school, during lunch or after school to make their purchase.

We have a limited selection of uniforms available. These are unisex adult sizes, so please be sure your student knows what size they need.(The Bookstore Accepts Credit Cards, Cash, and Checks. No Apple Pay at this time, and we can not take payment over the phone.)

*Required Uniforms: APA Class, Navy bottoms, Gray Casteel top

Athletic Academy Class-uniform varies. Students need to talk with their coach about their required uniform.

T-Shirts - $10
