Counseling

Casteel High School has received the Recognized American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Model Program (RAMP) designation. The RAMP designation recognizes schools that are committed to delivering an exemplary school counseling program. Honorees are awarded for aligning their program with the criteria in the ASCA National Model, a framework for a data-informed school counseling program. Casteel High School is one of two programs that are currently designated in Arizona.

Counselors work with students, parents, and staff to ensure student success at Casteel High School. Counselors provide developmental and preventative support for students' lifelong learning. Counselors will have contact with students throughout the year through a variety of lessons and presentations that are tailored to address academic, personal, social, and post-high school interests. Students are assigned to counselors based on their last name and grade level.

How to schedule an appointment with your counselor:

We have a couple of ways to request to see your counselor ~ There are QR codes in every classroom, bathroom and locker room that you can scan to request to see your counselor. There are also slips at Mrs. Davis' desk to fill out. Students should not come down during class time to make an appointment or to see a counselor, except in an emergency.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
